How does weighted decision-making work?
When you have multiple options and several criteria, your brain tends to over-weight the last argument it heard or the one that triggers the most emotion. A weighted matrix neutralises that bias.
Each criterion gets a weight based on its real importance to you. Then you score how well each option meets each criterion. The tool calculates the weighted score and ranks the options.
It's not about letting a number decide for you. It's about seeing clearly what you're really prioritising and whether you agree with it.
Tip: Define your criteria before looking at the options. This prevents your unconscious preference from influencing which factors you consider important.
